The short version
Come Bye does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising anywhere in the app. Everything you do in the game — every dog, every run, every score — stays on your own device.
What the app stores, and where
Come Bye keeps all of your progress locally on your device, using standard iOS app storage and preferences. This includes:
- Your kennel of dogs, their names, ages and traits;
- Training-yard results and daily drill progress;
- Trial calendar entries, pinned trials and your Morning Stake streak;
- Judge's cards, scores, records and rosettes in your scorebook;
- App settings such as sound, music, haptics and your chosen field theme.
None of this ever leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any other party, because Come Bye has no server to send it to.
Camera and photo library
If you choose to add a picture to one of your dogs' kennel cards, Come Bye asks for permission to use the camera or your photo library. The picture you choose is cropped and saved in the app's own storage on your device only. It is never uploaded, shared or seen by anyone but you. You can decline this permission and continue using the app with a painted portrait instead.
Notifications
Come Bye can send you two kinds of local reminder — a training-yard nudge and a Morning Stake reminder — if you allow notifications. These are scheduled entirely on your device using Apple's local notification system. No notification service or third party is involved, and nothing about you is sent anywhere to make this work. You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.
No tracking, no third parties
Come Bye contains no advertising network, no analytics library and no tracking software development kit of any kind. The app does not follow you across other apps or websites, and it has nothing to share with advertisers because it collects nothing in the first place.
Children
Come Bye does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If Come Bye ever changes what it stores or how it works, this page will be updated before the change ships, and the update will be reflected in the app's own Settings → Privacy screen.
