How do I give my dog a command?
Tap the command keys along the bottom of the field, or swipe on the field itself: swipe right for Come bye, left for Away to me, up for Walk up, down for Lie down, and double-tap for Stand. Each run starts live, with your dog already waiting at the post.
How is a run scored?
A judge's card marks six phases out of 100: outrun 20, lift 10, fetch 20, drive 30, shed 10 and pen 10. Wide or tight lines, missed gates, a split flock and a gripping dog all cost points, and the course has a time limit. Open the scorebook any time to see the full breakdown for a past run.
How do I bring a dog up through the grades?
Earn placing points at trials in your dog's own class — Nursery, Novice, Pro-Novice or Open — and enough of them move the dog up to the next grade. The training yard also lets you run one short drill per dog each day to sharpen a single trait.
Can I put my own dog's photo on its kennel card?
Yes. Open a dog's kennel card, choose "Change portrait", and pick the camera or your photo library. The picture stays on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
Does Come Bye need an internet connection?
No. Every run, dog, trial and score lives entirely on your device, so the game plays the same with no connection at all.
